There will always be something that you will give you p It’s been a minute since I’ve given an introduction. So hi... I’m Melissa. Queen of chaos and lover of diet Dr Pepper. We are an Army family and we just moved from Texas all the way to Virginia and it’s been quite the adventur It’s easy to get caught up in the guilt of leaving your kids. Logistically going places without them can be a nightmare. But your mental health needs you to take some time for yourself. As parents we often neglect our own needs for the needs of 4 on the 4th of July. 💥🇺🇸 Tripp you are sunshine on a cloudy day. When I was pregnant with you I didn’t think I had the capacity to love you because I didn’t even love myself. Boy have you filled me with more love and joy than I could There’s something truly magical about string lights. I’ve dreamed of having some in our backyard for years.... But this isn’t the yard I imagined them being in. We miss Texas. I sat back tonight and watched our kids chase fireflys, Being a working mom is hard. Being a stay at home mom is hard. Being a work from home mom is hard. You know what they all have in common??? They are all ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑑. somewhere along the lines we have set the stage that if you LOVE your job you must lo It’s been a minute since I walked by a mirror and instead of picking myself a part I celebrated what I saw. I’ve been losing my hair, as you know, and I recently had Matt remove my extensions. I spend most mornings hating what’s le Hang in there y’all- summer is hard... snacks count as fed 😉🖤 Tag a mama friend below and tell her one thing she is freaking awesome at. It’s @thirdlove 7th birthday of the classic tshirt bra and when they originally reached out to me asking if they could send me one I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to be involved because I’ve tried thirdlove once be I firmly believe you should have a go to outfit. You know the kind... when you need to immediately give yourself a 10/10 and boost your confidence. This sweet little dress from target and my trust denim jacket are going to be it for me for awhile!! Happy Father’s Day to the guy who carries all the groceries in at one time. Flushes the toilets when we forget. Goes to the grocery store at 5AM for milk. Tries on Zyia leggings to see if his tummy will be tucked in too. Changes diapers. Steps
